Inspirational Shatila

Young photojournalists/ artists documented manifestations of hope and creativity in their community; and became artists working with international muralists, to commemorate 30 years of community resilience and ingenuity, since the Sabra and Shatila massacre in 1982.

Inspirational Shatila was a one-year project, during which a series of photography, art and creative journalistic writing workshops were given to youngsters in the camp. Their work was later on exhibited in the “We Exist” exhibition.
